Our soft, limited reopening has gone pretty well. Very few customers have objected to our rules for masks, 4 CUSTOMERS at a time and of course, social distancing. Thanks to all of you well behaved quilters, we will be returning to regular staffing numbers each day. We will be opening on Wednesday’s from 11-3 , starting July 8th. We are going to continue with the 4 hour days as staff are finding that wearing a mask for 4 hours is enough. It also allows us time to do the extra cleaning before the doors open.

We have an interesting announcement that will benefit our customers and us.

QUILTERS MARK YOUR CALENDARS: we are finally going to gradually reopen the shop, following all the rules/guidelines that the various health authorities have prescribed.

Hoping to see many of you at the VQG show - and for the first time, we will have the store open at the same time. Shop Hours will be : Friday and Saturday. 11-4 . We will not be taking any bolted fabric to the show, so if you are wanting larger pieces, batting etc you will need to visit the shop. We are just a very short drive along Tillicum Road to our shop at the corner of Tillicum and Craigflower

How many of you remember that at one time I had a Longarm up and running at the old shop? I was getting sicker and sicker and in May 2008 I finished what turned out to be my last quilt. In June I was finally diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called sarcoidosis. A giant shelf was built to protect the rails and soon it was full of bolts of fabric.
